About Me | Zach Wyss
This portfolio highlights my work as a Freelance Sports Photographer and Designer. Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with programs at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels, including Willow Glen High School, San Jose State Football, Santa Clara University Basketball, the San Jose Earthquakes, and Ohio State Athletics. Each project has allowed me to capture the unique energy of sports and translate it into visuals that connect with fans and athletes alike.
My focus is to tell stories through the creative content I produce that brings out the emotion and intensity of sports. Through photography, I capture the raw, in-game action and behind-the-scenes moments that define teams and athletes. Through design, I transform those stories into bold, engaging graphics built for social media and digital platforms. Together, these elements create content that highlights tradition, showcases identity, and celebrates the culture of sports.
What started at Willow Glen High School with player graphics and team photos has grown into a wide-ranging creative journey. By freelancing across different levels of athletics, I’ve learned to adapt my style to match the personality of each program while keeping my work distinct and recognizable. Every project reflects not only my passion for sports but also my drive to keep building as both a creative and a storyteller.
Beyond media, I am currently pursuing a degree in Finance at The Ohio State University. This combination of creativity and business gives me a unique perspective, balancing strategy with design to create impactful work on and off the field.
